Aboitiz Construction has achieved a milestone by recording 27 million safe man-hours from November 11, 2022, to February 28, 2025, underscoring its commitment to workplace safety across project sites in the Philippines.
Key contributors to this achievement include the shipbuilding project for Tsuneishi Heavy Industries in Balamban, Cebu, which logged 10.8 million safe man-hours, and a maintenance project for Taganito HPAL Nickel Corporation in Claver, Surigao del Norte, contributing 3.2 million safe man-hours.
Other significant contributions came from completed projects, such as the design and construction of five warehouses for Fast Logistics in Consolacion, Cebu, which added 1 million safe man-hours.
Additionally, site development works for Lima Land, Inc. (Zone 2) in Batangas and the future TARI Estate in Tarlac City contributed 1.2 million and approximately 800,000 safe man-hours, respectively.
The milestone highlights Aboitiz Construction’s stringent safety practices protecting over 4,000 employees nationwide, including regular safety training, adherence to industry standards, and utilizing advanced safety equipment.
