Thailand-based hospitality group Dusit International said on Tuesday it has signed a hotel management agreement with Primex Realty Corp. to open a 200-room hotel in San Juan City, Metro Manila, by the end of 2026, marking its latest expansion in the Philippines.
The new property, to be named Dusit Greenhills Manila, will occupy the top 10 floors of the 50-storey Primex Tower, the tallest building in San Juan.
It will feature premium leisure and business amenities, including a rooftop pool and bar, Thai fine dining at Benjarong, meeting facilities, and direct access to Greenhills Mall, the city’s main retail hub.
“We are delighted to partner with Primex Realty Corporation to bring our unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to the heart of San Juan City,” said Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International.
Primex Realty Corp. is a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly listed Philippine developer Primex Corp.
Karlvin Ernest L. Ang, executive vice president and director of Primex Realty, said the project will elevate the Primex Tower’s positioning as a flagship mixed-use development in the capital.
The hotel will cater to both business and leisure travelers, located 45 minutes by car from Manila International Airport.
Dusit said the project is part of a broader plan to expand its footprint in the Philippines, which is already the company’s second-largest market outside Thailand. Dusit currently operates five properties in the country and plans to open nine more in the next five years.
The group, listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, operates 296 properties in 18 countries under various brands, including Dusit Hotels and Resorts and luxury villa operator Elite Havens.
