Property developer Megaworld Corp has entered into a strategic partnership with global real estate services firm JLL to elevate international standards in its Philippine developments, the companies announced on Monday.
Under the agreement, JLL will provide Megaworld with strategic advisory services in areas such as project development, property technology, sustainability, health and wellness, and building certifications.
The partnership will also cover office reinvention and innovations in building safety, security, and resilience.
“This type of partnership has never been done before in Philippine corporate real estate,” said Joey Radovan, JLL Philippines country head.
He said the collaboration will bring in new services focused on technology, sustainability, and wellness, helping Megaworld meet global benchmarks.
Megaworld President Lourdes T. Gutierrez-Alfonso said the partnership marks a new chapter in their long-standing relationship with JLL, aimed at introducing innovative solutions and ideas across the company’s developments.
The collaboration is expected to reinforce Megaworld’s leadership in the local property industry and support its push to future-proof its portfolio amid evolving market demands.
JLL, a Fortune 200 company operating in over 80 countries, is known for its expertise in commercial, industrial, hotel, residential, and retail real estate.
The firm has extensive experience in helping clients across Asia-Pacific build, manage, and invest in property assets.
The deal represents a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Philippine property sector, reflecting a growing trend of developers tapping global expertise to remain competitive and resilient in a dynamic real estate landscape.
